Latency-Associated Peptide of Transforming Growth Factor beta 1 (LAP TGF-b1)

Latency-Associated Peptide of Transforming Growth Factor beta 1 (LAP TGF-b1, LAP TGF-ß1) is involved in cancer, heart disease and immunity. Along with LAP TGF-b2 and LAP TGF-b3, it controls proliferation and cellular differentiation. LAP TGF-b1 has a longer half life than the active TGF-beta 1 peptide.
