Angiotensinogen (Angiotensinogen)

Angiotensinogen (AGT) is a 453 amino acid alpha-2-globulin belonging to the serpin family. It is produced and released into circulation mainly by the liver. AGT plasma levels are increased by corticosteroid, estrogen, thyroid hormone and angiotensin II.
